After taking this class, you can trouble-shoot computer glitches with the best of ‘em. First up is learning how a computer works, then you move on to basic maintenance and repair skills.
You will learn to completely dismantle systems, to identify equipment breakdown symptoms & faulty components, determine necessary and possible remedies, and accurately replace new and used equipment components to reconstruct units to full operation.

If you work in the food service industry, this class will help you apply safe food-handling practices, train other food-handlers, and be aware of the importance of serving food safely to the public. This class satisfies the Monterey County Health Department’s requirements for Health Permit holders. Prepare yourself for work in the construction industry. This course teaches you construction terms, procedures, use of tools, machinery and safety procedures for various jobs within the residential and commercial trades. With classroom instruction and on-the-job experience, you will learn site layout, concrete work, rough carpentry, sheet metal (heating), finish carpentry & cabinet making, plumbing, floor covering, electrical wiring, brick and block work, dry wall, painting and roofing. Seaside residents may be eligible for tuition waiver. Successful students may be eligible to enter the Carpenters Apprenticeship Program. Women encouraged to join.
